Okay, who loved conference?? MEE!
General Conference is a huge meeting that happens twice a year (April/October) and it's where members of the LDS church listen to Apostles and the Prophet speak. It's a pretty big deal in the LDS community because of the inspiring words that are spoken.

Wednesday night I started feeling kinda icky and then Thursday morning came along and I felt like I was hit by a Mack truck. Fever, aches, runny nose, hoarse- the WHOLE works people. It went well into this weekend. Boo. But it didn't stop me from enjoying conference :)
I took a lot of notes! It really helps me pay attention. I also go to conference with questions I want answered. The first three talks on Saturday answered every single question I had. I'm tellin' ya- these people are inspired by Heavenly Father.
How exciting that we also were able to sustain THREE new Apostles to the Quorum! I know that they are newly called by God. I'm excited to see them lead with the rest of the Apostles.
Did anyone notice a common theme this time around? I really noticed that a lot of the Apostles spoke about women and their importance. Especially Elder Holland (don't lie- he's your favorite) and Elder Nelson. They especially spoke on mothers.
What a tender moment in conference!
I hope that if you did watch it, that your questions were answered and that your knowledge for the gospel expanded. If you didn't watch, there's always April....woo!
