Flaws and all

Have you had those days where you look in the mirror and you automatically see what's wrong, what you wished to be different, what could be zapped, enhanced, or smaller?

Me too.

I look in the mirror and wish that I could have smaller boobs, only one chin, and a smoother complexion. I see my stretch marks from pregnancy, and my lisp. It goes on and on I feel like...

After a long dump fest on myself, I asked myself, "Okay, then what's good about myself?"

I love my lips and their uneven shape, I love the color of my hair and how you can't find this in a bottle, I love the shape of my eyebrows.

I love how I had a healthy pregnancy and no complications with labor.

I want to be an example for my daughter to love what you have been given. You get what you put out.

negative thoughts------> negative esteem

positive thoughts-------> positive esteem

I know it's hard to be positive all the time when it comes to your body. I would say I have 2 good days out of 7 when it comes to self esteem.

But...

I strongly believe that our weaknesses become our platform for success.

Embrace your "flaws" and when you say 1 BAD thing about yourself, I challenge you to say 3 GOOD things in return.

Happy 4th everybody!
